About the Retreat
The Women’s Wellness Nature Retreat offers a sanctuary where women can escape the stresses of daily life and immerse themselves in nature. Our retreat provides a unique blend of wellness practices, including guided forest bathing, play in clay, wildcrafting, and a forest music concert all set in a serene natural environment. Participants can expect to leave feeling refreshed, empowered, and more connected to each other and themselves, as well as the natural world around them.
Our mission is to create a supportive and nurturing space where women can explore their wellness journey. Through our carefully curated programs, we aim to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Whether you are looking to de-stress, gain new insights, or simply enjoy a peaceful getaway, our retreat offers something for everyone.
Retreat Highlights
Guided Forest Bathing
Enjoy a guided forest bathing walk with a ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Guide, you will be gently guided through the enchanted forest sensory experience known as Shinrin-Yoku, AKA “Forest Bathing.”
Clay Play - Pottery
Come Play in Clay! Creating a clay pot can be a powerful practice for holistic health, benefiting the mind, body, and spirit. The workshop will be instructed by Becky Sangha, Ba CWC. Becky is a skilled energy intuitive, shamanic & holistic practitioner, and artist with a deep connection to the natural world and a passion for creative expression. Becky blends ancient healing traditions with contemporary practices to nurture mind, body, and spirit.
Wildcrafting
Janice and Becky will also be inviting you to engage in delightful whimsy with a Mad Hatter-inspired wildcrafted tea party, an acorn cookie baking adventure, and a forest music concert!
Wildcrafting supports wellness by deepening our connection to nature, promoting mindfulness, and providing natural, nutrient-rich remedies for overall well-being.

Open welcoming kitchen and breakfast nook promotes lively chats as everyone sits around the old oak table, Just off the living room is a salon/sitting room with an upright piano, perfect for intimate gatherings and fun singalongs
Comfortable Sleeping Accommodations
The rooms are set up just as they were way back then – you can almost envision past guests from decades gone by, as they unpack and relax after their journey up the mountain.
Unique Retreat Space, Interesting History

Retreat Schedule
Day 1 - Friday
4Pm- 8pm
Retreat Check-in
Check-in at the retreat house begins at 4:00p.m. All rooms and beds will be selected by participants on a first come, first served basis.
6PM -7PM
Mindfulness Meditation
A guided session to help you center yourself and embrace being on retreat!!
7PM - 9PM
Welcome - Wine & non-alcoholic drinks with charcuterie
We’ll gather at 7:00pm at the Bailey House fire pit to unwind with a glass of wine, and charcuterie, meet new friends and participate in some musical fun.
Feel free to bring your favorite chocolate to share!
Day 2 - Saturday

Wholesome Breakfast

Wild harvesting Acorns
Discover the joy of collecting these abundant tree fruit, and learning to process them. The acorn flour will be used to make acorn cookies for our Mad Hatter Wild Tea Party later in the day

Forest Music Concert
Using a wavelength detecting device, we will listen to the music created by the plants and trees in the forest around us. We will be lead in a few nature songs, we’ll have extra instruments for those who choose to join (or you can bring your own.)

Refreshing Lunch
1-4pm
earthenware pottery workshop
We’ll use locally sourced clay to build and design an earthenware pot. The tactile experience of working with clay encourages mindfulness, grounding you in the present moment. This creative process can lead to a sense of accomplishment and emotional release. Working with clay, a natural material, fosters a deeper connection to the earth. This connection can enhance feelings of groundedness and stability, which are essential for overall well-being.

Forest Bathing & Treasure Receiving Ceremony
Shinrin-Yoku, or “Forest Bathing,” is a Japanese practice that involves immersing oneself in the sights, sounds, and smells of the forest to promote physical and mental well-being. This therapeutic practice encourages slowing down, breathing deeply, and fully engaging with the natural environment to rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit.
